-Hi Michael! Are you enjoying my party? Well, if you wait a minute I can show to you my granddad present! I have it upstairs in my bedroom.
Mum and dad are talking in their bedroom. I’m not going to listen to their conversation because it must be about my present and it has to be a surprise.
Here is it! Michael is going to like it!
Oh, Mum and dad are talking very loud but I can’t hear clearly, so it doesn’t matter.
-“Clap! Clap!”
Great! I think mum and dad have decided when they are going to give me the present because they are clapping.
-“Broom!”
What’s that? It seems as if it had fallen my gift!
Dad, where’re you going?

It is about the innocence of a child, it shocks me that his parents were arguing, it is a sad story, the boy will have not a present for his birthday.
ResponderEliminarI left an open ending, but I wrote it with the purpose of reflect the way of see the world of a child, very innocence. So the end of the story is that the father hit or kill the mother.
ResponderEliminarYeah, I know, I´m cruel but nowadays it is a daily new; people are getting used to see/hear it, we don't get surprised.
